More birthday fun...

Something really funny we discovered this weekend is that if you ask Addison how old she is she says, "I'll be two in April." Even since her birthday she says that. I guess she has heard us say that so many times to other people, that's her automatic response. I think that is so hilarious that she interpreted that for herself and adopted that saying. I guess the more we now answer, "she's 2" she will adopt that as well. She's such a mockingbird! When we tell her that, she even repeats that and it's so cute when she grins and says "mockinbird".

This is a very sleepy Addison eating her birthday waffle. She tried unsuccessfully to blow out her candles, but it was good practice.

This is when she came home from school on her birthday wearing her birthday hat that her teacher made for her to wear. I would like to add that the first person to give her a birthday hug when I dropped her off that morning was Jonah. :)

Here she is riding her tricycle that we gave her for her birthday. She's been saying for weeks leading up to her birthday "tricycle birthday". She also has been singing "Happy Birthday" to herself and also her Grandma (whose birthday is the same as hers) and her Great-Grandma (whose birthday is the day after hers).

She didn't sing in front of everyone, but she finally blew out her own candles after much effort!
