Birthday parties!

Since all the kids in Addison's class at Carolina Kids are the same age within about 3 months of each other, they all turned 3 about the same time. There was a birthday party just about every weekend in April and May. Addison missed a few of the parties when she was sick and in the hospital, but she did get to go to a few. Here's some pics of her having fun with her friends from school.

The first set is from her best friend Alayna's party at Champions Gymnastics. Alayna and her other friend Julia both go there for classes. I don't think we have a budding gymnast on our hands, but she sure did have a blast! She wasn't too interested in following the directions for the obstacle course at first (wonder where she gets that from), but she quickly warmed up (as long as Mama stayed with her) and got right into the fun with the rest of the kids.

The next party for her friend Katie was also a BLAST! It was at Monkey Joe's and it was our first time going there. This place is huge and filled with all sorts of bounce houses and slides. A total free-for-all for the little ones. After a little warm-up again, she was on her way, sliding and bouncing. This time, Daddy was the one who helped when needed...Mommy and baby brother weren't allowed. She even attempted one really tall one that Daddy had to help her up and down...that was the first and last time for that one. I think the Lightning McQueen became her favorite!

These parties were a blast and confirmed for me that next year's party will NOT be at our house! I like how you just come, party, leave, and let someone else do the work and entertaining!

Addison & Mama were surprisingly the high scorers for the girls team! The bumpers certainly helped Addison - she even got a few strikes! Baby brother must have been helping Mama in the tummy because she bowled surprisingly well for a pregnant lady!
