Fun with Grandma

Addison's Grandma came to visit for a couple of weeks to spend some time with Addison and Peyton. We had lots of fun hanging out and going places. Here's some shots of some things that we did.

We went to Main Street Children's Museum for the first time and it was really neat. A cheap, local play day if you get a chance to go, I would highly recommend it for ages 2-5.

Making a leaf collage

Playing on the train table

Cheese!

Ringing the bell on the ship

Climbing the rope net on the ship

Look at the brave knight!

Getting some lunch at the Old Town Bistro next door

Then we took Addison skating for the first time, after practicing in the driveway. She caught on pretty easily, although I must say that the frustration comes out in the form of anger when she isn't able to do something perfectly on the first try!

We also went to Chuck E. Cheese in Pineville. I haven't been there since I worked at WCCS Summer Care. It was fun and she had a good time, although it took her FOREVER to use all her tokens, so I played a few games too. :)  The funny thing is that her most favorite part was the show and tv that played the whole time. Talk about cheap entertainment, we could have skipped the tokens!
Eating pizza, yum!

Riding the virtual rollercoaster

Chillin with Chuck

Driving the monster truck

Giddy up!

She loved the spinning flying bike thing

More skating...
